Kure nai - 12 [FINAL]

Category: Kure nai @ 12:31 pm

Overall Series Score: 91/100

Yay~ I’m proud to say that Kure nai is the 200th anime that I have completed :D
I know that 200 isn’t a lot so shut up >_>
But it’s nice to have such a well animated series be my 200th completed series :D
Lovely Complex would be my 100th completed anime…

ANYWAYS on with the episode

The episode begins with Shinkuro and the head of the Kuhouin family discussing what to do with Murasaki. Murasaki’s father really annoys me. "You could never understand the tradition of the kuhouins blah blah blah crap".

But you know, Shinkuro is really strong willed and that’s extremly appealing <3

As Benika drives like a psyco mother across the Kuhoin Garden searching for Shinkuro. Chenshin Lin finds Benika, gets into a car, and the two have this crazy Initial D race. It was fun to see 2 badass’d girls destroying each other’s cars

After Benika finds Shikuro (pretty much by crashin her car into the building) Shinkuro and Ryuuji fight each other, while Yayoi and Chenshin go against each other. Shinkuro and Yayoi were both able to win by using a "different" technique against Chenshin and Ryuuji, but it kind of makes you think "Well damn, why didn’t you just do that in the first place >_>?"

Murasaki’s father is accompanied with his wife as Murasaki makes her decision on whether she wants to stay in the inner sancutary, or leave. This scene was quite intense, the way Shinkuro was yelling at the kuhoin head to shut up. In the end, Muasaki obviously she says she wants to be free.

The Kuhoin head goes on about all this crap about how Murasaki needs to follow these stupid Kuhouin traditions, etc… He’s a very stuborn man.

But what was very heart warming was when Murasaki said that her dream is to fall in love. These are such wise words for someone who is so young, you know? That’s exactly what made her words very sweet and wise.

Murasaki’s father still doesn’t accept her, so Shinkuro pins him down and resorts to force. Murasaki’s father goes into this "realization phase" when Shinkuro mentions Soujo, Murasaki’s REAL mother. But sickened by the situation, Ryuuji jumps up with a knife and stabs Benika. *cry* This moment was a real shocker q_q Before Ryuuji was about to shamelessly stab Benika even more, Shinkuro goes into berserk mode and beats the crap out of Ryuuji >:D !! Murasaki and her family realize that Shinkuro is a "monster".

With this fact in mind, Murasaki says that she and Shinkuro are the same, blah blah… Afterwards the episode is just discussion and talking. In the end, Murasaki decides to stay in the Kuhouin Residance in hopes to change it, and the condition is that she must be allowed to enter and leave as she pleases.

So… basically that’s how this episode goes. This wasn’t the most amazing ending I’ve ever seen, nor was it satisfactory. I think I would have felt better if Shinkuro was all "BITCH, GIVE ME MURASAKI BACK." but we can’t always get what we want q_q I would have at least like to see Murasaki in Shinkuro’s apartment one last time, just for old time’s sake.

Anyways, I’m kind of too lazy to write a review on the whooole series since most of the episodes moved kinda too slow for me to comment.

Overall Episode Score: 8.8/10
This is truly one of the best series for Spring 2008.

MUUURASAAAAKIIII NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Again, yes, I’m aware that Kurenai has already ended and that I’m VERY behind on the episodes *shun shun shun*

BUT WHO CARES, THIS EPISODE ROCKED!!

I’ll type this review up really quick so I can go straight to watching episode 12 and finish the series :D

  So Murasaki has been taken back to the craaaaazy Kuhouin sanctuary, and it’s up to Shinkuro to go save her! Dun dun dun~~~ Shinkuro, Benika, and Yayoi are caught trespassing the Kuhoin Resitance… like… the moment they step int, but that’s where all the kick ass action begins!! It’s winter and cold, so I can only imagine how much burden their bodies are going through while fighting these guards. Dayum, the family must be really rich if they can hire so many guards @_@;;

After some fighting, talking, blah blah blah, the bitch finally appears. Chenshin Lin. Man, i really hate her, despite the fact that she’s really bad assed. She beats the crap out of Yayoi while Shinkuro and Benika run to the kuhouin inner sancuary.

Afterwards, there’s more talking about Ryuuji, blah blah blah no one cares about him.

Now, this is where the REAL action begins. Shinkuro and Benika find Murasaki with Ryuuji, and Shinkuro desperatly asks for Murasaki to come back. It was really predicatble for Murasaki to say no, because if she said yes then the series would probably end there. Chenshin Lin heads towards the Kuhouin inner Sanctuary and THAT’S when we find that she doesn’t want to protect the Kuhouin family. She just wants to beat the crap out of people. So that’s bad news, because now Chenshin Lin runs into Shinkuro and Benika. Then she like… totally beats them like crazy. Ryuuji kicks in and starts fighting Benika. When does the violence end q___q~~~

What I REALLY liked was Shinkuro vs Chenshin Lin. After all the grieve of loosing to her, he was only able to land ONE slap. Even thought it was just one slap, Shinkuro felt relieved. But that kind of pisses Chenshin Lin off so she basically beats shamelessly him like a rock. Poor Shinkuro q_q…

While trying to protect Shinkuro and Benika, one of the servants jumps in with a knife attempting to stab Chenshin Lin. The sad part is that she was the one who ended up getting stabbed q___q man, i felt so crushed every time Lin stuck that knife into the servent q_q … it was really hard to watch but that’s what made it enjoyable q__q…

As Shinkuro and Benika run away, they find Yayoi being taken away by the guards. Benika instructs Shinkuro to go back to the car while Benika gest Yayoi back. Big surprise: Shinkuro runs away!!! AND NOW I NEED TO WATCH THE NEXT EPISODE LIKE RIGHT NOW TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEEEEXT!!!

Overall Episode Score: 9.5/10
Now i gotta go watch the last episode of kurenai~~!
