Ok, you can kill me now for taking over half a year to get off my ass and finish the rest of this anime

After watching just this episode, I’m so glad I’m picking this anime back up. Gash Bell, by far, is THE MOST UNDER RATED, UNDER APPRECIATED, AND UNDER ESTIMATED ANIME. I’m being like… completely and utterly honest. There’s a REASON this is an award wining shonen series! This anime has been like… my favorite series since…forever xD

Anyways, on to the episode. I’ve been wanting to watch this episode for over a year now, but you know… 1) Anime Destiny is slow and 2) I’m really lazy. Ted is introduced, and already, he’s listed as my FAVORITE Gash Bell character! Ted and Jiru are on the rode, flat broke. To search for a place to crash for the night, Ted wanders the forest and runs into Gash bell who was playing in his secret hide out. In attempt to kick Gash out of his secret hide out, they end up having a strength compitition. Gash appears to be the stronger one, but in the end they both crash and came to the decision that they shouldn’t fight against each other using spells.

It’s late at night, and Ted asks Gash if he’s heard of a demon named Cherish. They both go into a deep talk about family, having someone important to you, etc… After this conversation, Ted accepts Gash as someone important to him. Gash lets Ted and Jiro stay over for the night :D

Suddenly, there is a disturbance in the city. A demon who is targeting Gash proposes a challenge. The demon is searching for Baou users to destroy, so Gash accepts the challenge. Apparently, he gets his ass whopped and guess what? Ted comes to save the day! And the episode ends there q_q…

This episode wasn’t amazing, but the humor really changed my mood xD Ted’s personality is VERY appealing, I always love those bad assed kids :3 I’ll probably marathon the rest of *what is subbed* for Gash Bell throughout the week, and I’ll only blog the super amazing episodes.

I highly recommend this anime for shounen lovers :< don’t be deceived by the crappy english dub, or by the fact that the show comes off as a kids show >_>;; this series is more action packed, deeper, tear jerking, and more ORIGINAL than any anime I’ve EVER seen. Which is why Gash Bell gets #2 on my favorite anime list, right after One Piece (and one piece is nearly impossible to stand up against, lol).

Overall Episode Score: 8.5/10
