and i just needed to let this out :3 i dun feel like trying a looong rant about this episode. what i posted just about sums it up.

Episode Score: 10/10
and Okazaki is hot.

Okay. When I firsted looked at this series, the art style didn’t appeal to me. Why? Because it looked like a harem style anime. I looked at the character list and it was just a bunch of girls so i figured it’d prolly be along the lines of a harem anime >___>;;

But the ratings were pretty good… 7.76 i believe. not bad for an anime that just came out. That’s why I decided to give this a shot. 

So first 10 minutes of this anime… i was like WHOOOAAA!!! I TOTALLY DID NOT EXPECT THIS!!!! The dark and deep setting, the vivid animation, EVERYTHING was top notch. Er… for the first 10 minutes. My thoughts went from WTF YES to …wtf…no >_>;;

Okay. This first thing that made hate this episode was Takumi’s little sister. She’s way too stereotypical for a little sister. Okay. That was something I could tolerate… barely…
The second thing I hated… Takumi. Okay… overly paranoid otaku hikikomri.. HMM. I WONDER WHERE I’VE SEEN THAT BEFORE. oh! I know!! NHK NI YOKOSO. ARGH. Okay, the problem is this: HE’S WAAAAAY TOO MUCH LIKE SATOU FROM NHK NI YOKOSO. Cept worse. 1. he’s not as good looking and 2. his personality changes too much and it just… does click. His personality and his looks don’t click at all. One moment he’s paranoid and the next moment he’s like Kouta from Kanokon. I was "…wtf" the whole way through. The problem with Takumi being so much like Satou is that people, like me, are going to start comparing Chaos Head to NHK ni Yokoso. NHK was… brilliant. This anime? Not so much. So far. But I don’t like it so far :/ too many characters introduced at one time… a lot of instances where i thought it was cheesy that Takumi says his thoughts out loud when he’s on the computer… and i hate how he’s too much like satou.

The next thing I hate. Rimi. Okay… innocent little girl who abusively kills people… HMM. Where have I seen THAT before? I dunno. Hmm… maybe… HIGURASHI NO NAKU KORO NI. And this anime is not as appealing. Not to mention that there are like… 5 girls this anime HASN’T introudced and they’re the main characters….

Another thing that drove me away from the series… the glossy hair. i’m sorry, but glossy hair and funky hair colors are like… SO two years ago. I hope these anime realize that the series that sell the most have characters with REALISTIC colored hair with little gloss. I’m sorry, but the gloss annoys me and it’s something that was used in like 1990’s. it looks disgusting. There are a LOT of moments where I feel like the background should have been more dark and grunge to fit with the mood… the bright yellow classroom killed the mood when Takumi and Rimi met in class.

Anyways, the likely hood of me droping this anime is VERY high. I’ll watch the next episode and make my final decision then. But this is like… a crappy comination of Nhk ni yosoko and higurashi with some Da Capo characters thrown into it. Fun.

oh my god. WHY WASN’T THIS THE FIRST EPISODE!?!?! Gawd. The first episode of clannad sucked, but this episode was just the best fuckin thing i’ve ever seen.  this episode fuckin sold the series to me, and i just saw the preview to episode 3 and i can just TELL it’s gonna be the most mind blowing zomg orgasim WTF amazing thing EVER. EVER. EVER

well, let’s get back to this episode. okay XD omg. right from the very start. yes. i found my self saying "Oh MY GOD.  THIS IS THE CLANNAD I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR!! THIS IS THE CLANNAD I’VE SAT AROUND FOR NEARLY 4(?) MONTHS WAITING!!! YES YES YES YES YES!!!!" Okay, this episode was hillarious. Just plain hillarious. OKAZAKI’S MAGIC!! BABYSUNOHARA!!! Dear lord, i love this anime. i love it love it love it.

and oh my god, OKAZAKI <3333333 EVERY TIME I SAW HIS FACE, I MELTED!!! I SERIOUSLY FUCKIN MELTED DIED CAME BACK TO LIFE AND MELTED AGAIN, SQUEEEEEEED AS LOUD AS I POSSIBLY COULD, AND BANNGED MY HEAD AGAINST THE COMPUTER MONITOR LIKE 50 MILLION TIMES EVERY TIME HE SPOKE. sanae was a real turn on in this episode too <3 OMG I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE SUNOHARA GOIN ALL EMOTIONAL OVER HER THAT’S GANNA BE THE FUCKIN BEST!!!!

okay, i looked at the MAL top anime and clannad after story is already ranked higher than the first season and only 2 episodes came out. WELL. it totally deserves being that high after seeing this episode <3 i’m SO freakin close to giving this series a 10 …but i won’t YET. i usually never ever give a series a 10 after 2 episodes D: so i’ll wait like 3 more eps and change the score then <3333

i think i’m either on crack or i’m ultra overly excited for fall 2008 <3 excuse me for being overly hyper… i’m more hyper when watching the actual episode and the only way i find relief is by letting it all go in my anime blog <33

Wow. An absolutely amazing start to an absolutely amazing series.

Oh my freaking gawd. Every single fawking aspect of this first episode was fawking amazing. Fawking amazing. FAWKING AMAZING.

I dunno what else to say XD This episode just made my day. Wow. The music is already a notch better than it was before. Nodame is more lovable than she ever was <3 Chiaki’s character is developing and i’m so totally loving it <3 the shana reference made me lol XD oh gawd, i wonder if the french people watching this episode are like "lewl, japanese such at speaking frenchanese x_X"

I love how realistically a french otaku is portrayed XD they’re just like American otakus. ashamed to show their otakuness, but their room is filled with figures and junk q___q so realistic XD

Might I add that the opening theme song is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous. Wow, by far the most beautiful song I have ever heard, especially by a male. Wait, I feel like i’m not emphasizing this enough. *inhale* *exhale* GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH THE OPENING THEME SONG IS THE MOST AMAZING BEAUTIFUL GORGEOUS THING I HAVE EVAR HEARD IN ALL OF ANIME HISTORY <3333 i mean sure, "Shut Up and Explode" is unique and catchy, but dear lord, "Sky High" sounds just… stunning. Amazing. I love this song.

Well, that’s all I gotta say. I feel like i commented more on the op theme song than the episode it’self XD ah well

The BGM… oh my gawd. Right away, I fell in love with the music. Absolutely brilliant music. Is it just me, or do ALL the anime of Fall 2008 have top notch animation? Or maybe I’m just picking the anime with nice animation to watch. Very nice backgrounds, I really love the production value. However, this episode was on the rather dull side in my opinion… I mean the animation and music was nice, but as an episode it was OK. So the butler’s name is Sebastian? I’m sorry, but I’m pretty sure 80% of the people who watched this laughed XDD As for Ciel.. I dunno. This whole anime has a very "dark" side to it, so in a way, it felt dull. Or maybe I’m just really sleepy o_O;; Anyways, I’ll watch maybe 2 more episodes of this anime and see if I want to continue. I’m trying to be more wise with the series I watch, and so far this anime doesn’t appear to have a definate plot. Until I grab hold of the plot this anime delivers, I’ll feel the tendancy to drop this series.

Hyakko
Episode Score: 7.8/10
Again… either I’m really tired, or this episode was dull too. Great animation, I love the shadowing and the background… but the episode was just about some stereotypical shy girl getting lost in a big school. The first half of this episode was dull and boring… they were just walking around the school being lost and what not. Nothing happened. But when Torako appeared, the episode came on a more comedic side and became exactly what I was looking for in this anime. Sadly, the humor only lasted like the last 10 minutes of the episode. If the second episode can step up and avoid that boring slice of life crap, I’ll keep watching this series. But if you know me well, I’m not a big fan of slice of life. I hate it when anime goes nowhere. Unless it’s funny and crazy like Seto no Hanayome and School Rumble, this anime won’t make the cut for me.

LAWL I finally got around to watching this OVA.

Ok, to be honest, I’m not a big lucky star fan. But wow, this was actaully funny. Were all Lucky Star episodes like this o_O? I mean, after watching this OVA, I feel like I didn’t watch the Lucky Star series "properly" [Cuz I DID speed up the episodes since they were so boring >_<;;)

I loved the doggie. The whole scene was SO funny XD I never really laughed in the lucky star series as much as I laughed in this OVA. I thought the RPG scene after that was OK…tho my sister laughed o_O;; i didn’t get some of the jokes i guess lol. OMG, the cinderella scene was also really funny XD Konata is just so cute :3 And seeing kagami as rin and miku cracked me up. KYA~ The scene after that was the volley ball scene. OMG Tsukasa XDD She cracks me up. I nearly fell out of my chair when she bounced off that net. SHE’S SO KAWAII <3333 after that volley ball scene, the rest of the OVA was just… OK. I did like that scene when Shiraishi was like "I AM ZERO". He sounded JUST like Jun Fukuyama <3 And and and at the end with lucky channel with Hiromi <33 she’s so pretty lol, i would have mistaken her for Hirano Aya XD

Anyways, I was entertained with this OVA and I just HAD to post something about it :]

YES. Omg, Fall 2008 is like rockin my fuckin socks this year. I already think this series is brilliant, just as I predicted. I love madhouse studios <333

First and foremost: The animation. Oh my fuckin gawd, the animation. Amazing amazing amazing. There was SO much detail in Ringo’s feet, hand movements, and facial expressions. Not to mention the fighting scenes were extremley detailed and VERY hardcore. I love the 70’s art style with modern animation, it works together so perfectly. It looks a LOT like Cyborg 009, which is why I decided to watch this series in the first place. Might I add that Casshern is friggin SEXY. OMG, if this series keeps up, I might obsess over Casshern more than Lelouch XDDD

There are a BUNCH of questions I have that are just tempting me to see the next episode. First off, what’s the deal with Casshern’s flashy suit? Well… his flashy suit is what got me interested in this series, but I awnt to see if it has any real symbolic impact on the series. Second, who is Luna and why was it such a big deal that Casshern killed her? I really want to get more background on her so that the whole "KILL CASSHERN" thing makes deeper sense. AND THAT GIRL WITH THE PINK HAIR. Did they mention her name in the first episode o_o;;? Ah well. I really wanna know her relation with Casshern…. why she hates him and wants to kill him. Oh gawd, I also wanna know why Casshern doesn’t remember anything about himself :O~!!!

So yeah, this episode was great. The whole scene with Ringo and Casshern really touched me, it was just so kawaii!! Too bad, I highly doubt that Ringo will appear again throughout the series, but who knows :P I also want to know more about the world that Casshern is, along with the society. Makes me wonder how that’s gonna work out :P Ah gosh, I really want to see the next episode x3 ~!!!
